The inspiration for the establishment Ben Franklin Global Forum traces back to the 1990 Bicentennial Celebration of the legacy of Benjamin Franklin and to the establishment several years later of the Admiral Charles LeMoyne Leadership Awards Program. The Forum was created to provide funding for the design, development and implementation of programs that honor the legacy of Ben Franklin in the many fields and professions associated with one of the world’s most remarkable personages.
Working independently and in partnership with distinguished regional and national organizations, the Ben Franklin Global Forum designs and implements outreach programs that promote the ideals of self-sufficiency, innovation and excellence in five designated areas: Leadership, Public Service, Science & Technology, Business, and The Arts.
The Forum also provides mentoring and coaching assistance to veterans who are making the transition from a military career to civilian life and need a knowledgeable resource to assist in that effort. The Forum also provides this support to previous recipients of the Admiral Charles LeMoyne Leadership Award.
