Internationally renowned explorer and cinematographer Feodor Pitcairn brings his newest project to the Ben Franklin Global Forum’s Science & Technology Initiative for its World Premiere. Secrets of the Humpbacks is a new, high-definition film that explores the habitats and behaviors of the sea’s most “vocal” inhabitant. The humpback whale sings long, varied, eerie, and beautiful songs that have the largest range of frequencies used by whales, ranging from 20-9,000 Hertz. This event is supported by the Ben Franklin Global Forum and The Ocean Conservancy.
